I’ll admit that the first few pages of this book made me wonder what exactly this book was all about. It didn’t seem like it would be very “interesting” to a typical college student in the 21st century, but it also seemed a little elementary for a campus ministry professional. However, as I continued reading, it suddenly became clear to me that this would be an excellent book fa small group discussion between campus a pastor or teacher and students, especially those in their first year or two(2) in college.
There are some loaded topics in this book, and I only wish that there had been a resource like this back in the day when I would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss frankly things like the challenges of perfectionism, doubt, depression, and, of course, the ever-present issues of Christian sexuality.
The tone is light but still gives some weighty advice, and each chapter has some good jumping off questions for leading into a much deeper and more personalized discussion. A great book for college students and those working with college students

This devotional is broken up into four(4) sections:
